Really beautiful place on the 4th floor. It's open air and in the evening you have a view of the sunset over the lagoon to the west. The food and service are fantastic. Happy hour goes until 6pm, and that lined up nicely with the sunset about 6, so get there early and enjoy both. You might not need reservations every night, but you will need a reservation to get one of the good tables on the west side with a great view of the sunset.

A wonderful upscale Belizean restaurant on the rooftop. All the food was lovely and fresh! Cocktails were great as well.

Food: Delicious food!! My husband had the creole mahi and mango cheesecake. I had shrimp scampi. My husband does not usually like fish but he ordered it since we are on an island and the creole sauce caught his attention. He CLEANED the plate. And kept raving about it.

Service: Our server Lilian was very attentive and such a pleasure to speak with while we attended the restaurant. She adequately checked in with us while we waited for our food and during our meal. Out of all the places we have tried in San Pedro this week she is the best server we have encountered!

Atmosphere: The music playing was pleasant. The view from the rooftop over the water is gorgeous! Restaurant very clean.

Visited to celebrate a Birthday and was left kinda dissapointed.

Some food items were better than others.

The food taste wasnt bad but trying out other areas in San Pedro this spot was a dissapointment jusr because i expected more. The food was good but didnt really blow my mind. Food plate decoration was good, and def will want to take pictures but the taste to many of the items were not impressive.

I actuslly gave half my lobster to a friend and another friend left her steak almost untouched. Everyone will have their own experience but i wasnt happy with the food.

Their special drinks selection was weak. They look good but I personally as dissapointed.

They had a musician who was def the best part of the place. Their server and service def top notch.

Great views and def a good late night location. I would recommend but def becsuse of tge atmosphere NOT the food.

Doubt ill return and thats the dissapointment.

Not highly recommended. Out of our whole trip to Belize, this was the worst restaurant we ate at. First, they lost our reservation, which we had proof that was made two months prior. They ended seating us in the very windy bar area at a table with high stools. It was loud and the waiter was non attentive. He would disappear for great lengths of time so our meal courses were very far between. Attached are the meals we had. The presentation was nice but the food was cold. At the end we just wanted out of there. We asked for the check 4 times. We had payment ready for pickup, it took 15 minutes for the waiter to come get it. If you are thinking of going to ‘Rain’ for a nice night out, think again. There are SO many other options. We highly recommend you do that!

Restaurant has a nice ambience however the restaurant is very overpriced. The prices are in U.S the only restaurant on the island that charge you in U.S dollars. I was highly disappointed because I was looking forward to enjoying this restaurant with my family. I had a personal chef that I had come to my hotel and cook for me and my family and it was way cheaper than eating at the restaurant. I definitely wouldn't recommend this restaurant to no one this way very unacceptable.

Outstanding, just phenomenal experience. Check sunset times and arrive 20-30 minutes ahead of that. We sat at the southwest corner table 420 and our sunset view was spectacular. Even better, the helicopter service brought some people in around that time and landed at the helipad across the street so we got a good view of that. The food was exemplary. We started with wine and the white walker drink (highly recommended) and the conch fritters. Lobster was out of season but we asked for the mango habanero sauce to go with our fritters. The chicken parmesan and spaghetti dinner I had was the right amount of food and was as good as any I've had at an Italian place. So good! My kids had the fettuccini with shrimp and my wife had the Snook fish with rice. Everybody loved their food. The dessert was also primo: chocolate lava cake.

Oscar was our waiter so ask for him. He was an excellent server for us and highly recommended. Don't miss out on this Rain sunset dinner experience. Best food I have had on Ambergis.

March 2024 update: still outstanding but wish Oscar was still a waiter there. Rain still has the best views and some of the best food on the island for sure. Make sure you get there before sunset. The staff were excellent and had our corner table to see the sunset reserved. My tuna was perfect and the drinks and desserts were all wonderful. Easy and convenient parking if you are driving from downtown San Pedro.

Sure am glad we worked this in just before we finished our vacation. We ate every meal out for a week and this was our favorite. I would like to rate it more than 5 stars. It was the best fish I have had in my life. It was the chef special grouper with slaw and other things they made taste off the charts fabulous! We got there 30 minutes before sunset. I hope I can come back someday and experience this again. Service was exemplary.
