I am usually someone who feels uneasy when staying at hotels, but here I felt truly comfortable and at peace. The staff took such great care of us, thinking of everything in advance and preparing it perfectly for our stay.
The rooms were clean and tidy, providing a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.
The breakfast was delicious.
The location, situated in a beautiful little town, was perfect, and being away from the noise made the experience even more enjoyable.

The owners were so helpful when we first got in touch with them to book two rooms for us and our children (we had a shared balcony and next door rooms). Very tasty bakery products for breakfast and friendly staff. We ate at the Thursday Flammkuchenabend too. It's right in the middle of the village so within easy walking of the spas and few shops and ten minute stroll through the park to the open air pool. Really recommend.

I booked this last minute and when arriving the staff were very friendly and helpful. They took me up to my room and I felt like I had walked into a Delux hotel. The decoration was relaxing and bright. There was a big TV and phone in the room. With my own balcony to sit out on! Just what I needed after a long drive. There was a sun shade on the balcony if I wanted to use it. The bathroom was clean with planty of towels even one for the shower to step out on to. Marco the owner was very helpful with all the information on the area of what to see and even answered all my questions about the village. I had been in the Black Forest for a week and not got round to having Black Forest cake so it was down to the Cafe after I had seen my room for a coffee and cake. The coffee was given free as a welcome. The breakfast was set out well and fresh coffee was made as soon as you sat down. The staff made sure all the time you were ok and if you wanted more coffee. It was great to see all the staff work as a team with always a smile on their faces. There was a open sitting area by the rooms with books and a small fridge with drinks in. All I can say is if you dont stay here just at least stop for coffee and cake or a meal as you will not be disappointed.

Reasonably priced, clean, and friendly staff. Hotel Garni served as a great home base for my family as we explored the Black Forest. Be sure to choose the "plus" rooms as those rooms have a large living area, plenty of space good for winding down the evening playing cards. The attached bakery has some delectable treats.

Welcomed by our host, easy parking , lovely clean room with a sunny balcony, washing machine and great breakfast. The café adjoining the hotel is great with amazing cakes and very friendly staff. ||Our host also provided great ideas for off the beaten track places to visit in the Black Forest.

New ownership has made a lot of changes and it is not for the better. There has been a noticeable cutback to the free included morning breakfast and the coffee that is now served is extremely weak with no flavor. The furniture in the rooms is also in serious need of updating. We stayed here in 2015 and all was fine but when we returned for a 2 week stay in 2018 we found that it is not managed as before. Another problem is the late night noise created by the local hangout across the street as well as the traffic. We will stay elsewhere next year when we return to this area.

Cake is very dry, seems like they made the cake a few days ago and let it stand outside for a few days. Really unfortunate! Service itself is great, they clean the tables often, they're friendly, etc. If only the cake was as good, had such expectations as the place looks great 🙁

I stayed here for over a week and I was so happy. The place is very clean, cozy, comfy and nice.
The owner and all the staff are very helpful and friendly. The area is very accessible to the Church, the Edeka Store, Rathaus, and the Banhof. Its all walking distance. Plus theres a Laundy Area and a Cafe inside. Its all inside in that Hotel. A complete Package. Love it. Thank you Mrs. and Mr. Ortmann. Till next time.
